Pretty good for my kid

Signed up my son for the Foundation Math course after a friend recommended it. It went pretty smoothly. The classes were interactive, and he seemed to pick up things fast. I liked that I could track his progress online. The overall vibe was positive, and he didn't complain about doing his math. So, yeah, it worked out well.

Detailed review of Summer Math camp

My son participated in the Summer Math camp last year, and I wanted to share our experience. Ordering the course was straightforward online, and the instructions for joining the live classes were clear. The instructors were engaging and used a lot of interactive math workshops, which kept him interested. We had one minor tech issue during a session, but the support team responded within an hour and helped us resolve it. He really enjoyed the Vedic Math techniques and said it made mental calculation much easier. By the end, his math confidence had definitely improved, and he even got a certificate. I regularly checked his progress through the portal, which was a useful feature. Overall, it delivered what it promised, and he genuinely learned a lot.

Good value for money

I was looking for a math program for my daughter and found Bhanzu. The free demo class really helped us decide. After that, we got a first course discount, which was a nice bonus. It felt like a solid investment for her math confidence. Worth it.

Solid program with minor snag

We enrolled our daughter in the Advanced Math program. The content was strong, and the personalized math tutoring really helped her with some tricky concepts. She definitely built more confidence. My only minor issue was with the initial scheduling; it took a couple of tries to get a slot that fit our busy schedule perfectly. Once that was sorted, everything ran smoothly. Good value, but they could improve the onboarding process a little.

Amazing Live Math Classes

My son just finished the Mental Math program and he absolutely loved it! The live online math classes were so engaging and the instructors were fantastic. He's actually excited about math now, which is a huge change. We will definitely be signing up for another course! Highly recommend Bhanzu to anyone looking to make math fun for their kids.

How do Bhanzu's live classes work? Is it like a big group or more personalized?

M Mary J. 4 days ago
It's live with an instructor, but not like a giant lecture. They keep the groups pretty small so kids can actually interact and get attention. My son found it way better than his school online classes.

Depends on the program, but for the most part, it's live and interactive. My daughter got pretty good one-on-one time with her teacher even in a small group setting.

Hey, I'm looking at Bhanzu for my kid, but wondering if it's really worth it? Like, is it actually legit or just another online thing?

S Susan B. 1 month ago
Yeah, it's legit. My cousin's kid did it for like 6 months and really improved their mental math speed. They enjoyed it too.

I heard good things. The founder is like, a super fast human calculator, so they definitely know their stuff. My friend's daughter is doing their summer camp and she's actually excited about math now, which is wild.

Does Bhanzu do any free trials or like a demo class? Wanna see if my kid even likes it before committing to anything.

J Jennifer 1 month ago
Yeah, they totally do! You can sign up for a free demo class. That's how we started.

They have a free demo session. Just head to their site and you can book one pretty easily. It's usually like an intro to how they teach.

How does Bhanzu compare to like, Kumon or Khan Academy? I'm trying to decide between them.

D Donna Mitchell 1 week ago
Bhanzu is way more interactive and focuses on mental math and speed. Kumon is more drill-and-practice workbook style, and Khan Academy is mostly pre-recorded videos. My kid hated Kumon but loves the live classes here.

From what I know, Bhanzu is live, personalized, and really hones in on speed and conceptual understanding. Khan Academy is good for self-paced stuff, but no direct teacher interaction. Kumon is also good for practice but can get repetitive. Bhanzu feels more dynamic for kids.

Does Bhanzu follow the school curriculum or is it more like extra stuff? My kid struggles with what they're doing in class already.

A Abigail Lewis 2 weeks ago
It's not strictly following one school curriculum, but it definitely complements it. They focus on building core concepts and mental math skills that make school math way easier.

They teach a 'Bhanzu way' which is about understanding the why behind math, not just memorizing. So while it helps with school, it's more about foundational understanding and speed, which applies to any curriculum.
